  • The Church of the Gesu
    The Church of the Gesu is the main church of the Society of Jesus and is officially called the Chiesa del Santissimo. This is a true example of Baroque architecture and has been a model for many of the Jesuit churches across the world, especially in America. Situated in the Piazza del Gesu in Rome this was first initiated by Saint Ignatius of Loyola who is the one who founded the Jesuits Society of Jesus. The façade of the Church of the Gesu has two parts. There is a lower part and that is divided by six pairs of pilasters which have Corinthian capitals. The upper part has four pairs of pilasters.   • The St.John’s Baptist Church, Florida.
    Located in the Miami region of Florida, the St. John’s Baptist Church is a part of the U.S. National Register of Historic Places since the year 1992. Then there was a second pastor N.B. Williams who was summoned to lead this group. During his tenure, the entire membership then was transferred to the Jackson’s Hall. The members then bought a permanent lot and constructed a 50×48 foot structure. The group moved into this construction in the year 1908 on the third Sunday. Rev. Williams was there till the last half of the year 1910. Then in the year 1912, Wilkerson Drake cast a membership and took over as the Church leader.   • Cathedrals in Innsbruck

  • Barcelona Cathedral
    arcelona Cathedral holds it own as one of the most impressive cathedrals in Spain, even though it is in the same city as Gaudi’s La Sagrada Familia. The cathedral is also known as La Seu, and is a marvel of Catalan Gothic architecture from the fourteenth century. The spires of the cathedral are visible from all over the Gothic quarter of Barri Gotic, Barcelona. The cathedral is situated on an elevated piece of land, which has since time immemorial functioned as a center for spirituality for Barcelona. At the first instance, there was a Roman Temple here, after that a mosque, and after that, a church. The present cathedral building started being built in 1298, when King Jaume II was reigning.   • Urnes Stave Church
    Urnes Stave Church dates back to 1130. It is the oldest stave church of its kind in the country, and is located in Western Norway.  The church is home to some of the most elaborate carvings in entire Norway. It is also the only church in Norway to have been recognized as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. There has been a settlement in the scenic spot along Lusterfjord ever since the prehistoric era. There were three burial mounds, a monumental stone and several cairns discovered around the church. The original first church was built at the site in the 10 t h and 11 t h centuries, right around when Christianity came to Norway first, during c. 1000- 50.     The Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe is known by a number of alternate names, such as La Villa de Guadalupe, the Basilica de Guadalupe, New Basilica, La Ville de Guadalupe. It is situated at the boundaries of Mexico City. The Basilica is one of the most important places of Christian worship. It is one of the most significant pilgrimage locations for Roman Catholics. It is among the most visited religious spots in the world. Our Lady of Guadalupe is dedicated to the vision of the virgin that was said to have appeared to St Juan Diego, a convert from Aztec religion, in the sixteenth century.   • San Luigi dei Francesi
    It was Pope Clement VII, when he was Cardinal Giulio di Guiliano de Medici, that gave the order for the San Luigi dei Francesi to be constructed in 1518. The church was built as a seat for his cardinalship as well as to benefit the French community of Rome. The church came to be built at the asking and using the donations of Catherine de Medici, wife of King Henry II of France and also great niece to the Cardinal. She wanted a church built for the French in Rome, and donated funds. There was a tiny church at the site of San Luigi dei Francesi, known as Santa Maria, which was possessed by Medici family. This church was in turn previously home to the Baths of Agrippa and the Baths of Nero.
