  • Biblical Delights in Mount Sinai
    Mount Sinai in Egypt is a traditional site where it is believed that Moses received the Ten Commandments from God. Here you find small chapels at the peak from where you get the best views of the sunrise. This is the beginning point for the climb and is a sight that should not be missed. This is where you also find the St. Catherine’s Monastery which is located at the foot of the mountain. It is also called the Jebel Musa or the Mount Moses and is a great biblical site to visit. One can hike up to the monastery to the top of the mountain and this is where Moses received the Tablets of the Law from God. The main way to the peak is called the Path of Moses and it has many chapels bordering it.   • The Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes
    The Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes is popularly known as the Church of the Multiplication. This is a church that is located in ancient Heptapegon or Tabgha which is on the northwestern shore of the Galilee Sea. Today this is a modern building located on the site where the earlier fourth and fifth century churches were located. It is a storehouse of a magnificent Christian mosaic as also the traditional stone on which the meal was laid out. This amazing act of feeding around five thousand people also has a description in Mark 6:30-44 just before the time Jesus Christ walked on water.     According to the New Testament, Bethany is the house of the figs. It is believed that this is the place of siblings Lazarus, Martha, Mary, and also the abode of Simon the Leper.   • Dome of the Rock: Holy Shrine
    Dome of the Rock is an Islamic shrine in Temple Mount, Jerusalem. Built on a sacred stone, the shrine has religious importance to Islamic and Jewish people. The shrine, built by Abd al-Malik from 688 to 691 AD to commemorate the day of ascension by Mohammed, is an architectural masterpiece. In ancient times, this edifice was considered to be equivalent to Bible’s Temple of Solomon. The shrine is of distinguished and surpassing quality. The magnificent structure appears appealing to the eyes as it is built proportionately in all directions. Based on the mathematical calculations used for construction of churches of Byzantine Empire, Dome of the Rock is well integrated in its plan.   • Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem
    There are many pilgrims who you will see o the way to Jerusalem. One of the most important things here is when you take a walk in the Via Dolorosa. This is the same route that was taken by Jesus when he was condemned by Pilate until he was crucified and buried. This is a pilgrimage that has been followed by Christians of many different denominations. There are many Catholics and orthodox Christians. There is a pilgrimage that follows right from the times of early Christianity.  This had started and this religion was legalized by Constantine.
